Boys Training Program
No experience necessary. LBC boys' basketball training is design to help athletes develop skills, following Canada Basketball's Long-Term Athletic Development pathway.
Program Information
Our 90-minute training sessions provide basketball skill training for girls in grades 3 to 5, and 6-8.
Our experienced coaches and high school volunteers provide a range of activities that are fun and help to develop basketball skills.

Coach Peter Chapman is a high school teacher and has coached club basketball for 12 years. Peter has coached 4 teams in the OBA to Division 1 and ranked as high as 2nd in Ontario. He has also coached the Westminster Senior girls to 2 TVRAA championships, a WOSSA silver medal, a WOSAA championship, and a second seed at OFSAA. Peter was the OBA trainer of the year in 2018 and assistant coach at Algoma University. He has worked with over 20 athletes who have gone on to play post-secondary basketball.
Coach Darren Tranberg is an elementary teacher and coach with L2T/T2T/T2C certification and over twenty years coaching experience with elementary, high school and OBA teams including Division 1.
Dale Napier has over 20-years experience as a coach, teacher, and physical education specialist with L2T/T2T certification. Dale has extensive experience as a league organizers and tournament convener. He has coached many elementary teams to win district finals, as well as club teams in provincial leagues in divisions ranging from U11 to U16.
